Education Programs

The Wenham Fire Department actively participates in fire education programs across the community to ensure safety throughout the town of Wenham.

S.A.F.E and Senior S.A.F.E. programs are provided by the department to educate children and seniors on fire and life safety.

For children and students the department provides in-person visits to schools to discuss age-appropriate fire safety. Programs include going to schools and speaking with students about the sounds of fire safety, what to do in an emergency, and how to call 911.

For seniors, the department offers smoke alarm and CO installation, as well as in home inspections to identify any hazardous in the home. Seniors, and often caregivers are given tips to learn how to exit theme safely in the instance of a fire or emergency.
